On remand from the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal holds that substantial evidence supports USC’s determination that plaintiff engaged in intimate partner violence warranting expulsion from the university. The decision also holds that it is not a due process violation for a private association, such as a university, to follow the inquisitorial model (with a single person or body serving as both investigator and adjudicator) in resolving disciplinary matters.
