Wallace M. Tice

Wally Tice has demonstrated a history of success on behalf of his clients. Whether through sage advice, litigation, negotiation, or a combination, Wally has a proven ability to achieve bottom line results by efficiently solving problems.

After long-standing memberships in the McGlynn, McLorg & Ritchie and Lynch, Gilardi & Grummer law firms, Mr. Tice has added his unique synthesis of expertise as Senior Counsel to the Firm’s Insurance, Construction and Professional Liability groups. Wally’s dispute resolution proficiency includes insurance coverage, bad faith and fraud, employment and professional liability, construction defect, products liability, bodily injury and property damage defense, wrongful termination, gender and age discrimination, executive compensation and severance arrangements. He also has significant experience in handling ERISA claims and appellate actions.

Wally has actively participated in memberships of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, the San Francisco and Marin County Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Insurance Law Committee, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), the Property Claims Association of the Pacific, the Anti-Fraud Alliance, and The CLM Alliance. Wally’s volunteer activity has involved settlement conference panelist positions with the San Francisco and Marin County Superior Courts, as well as service on the Board of Directors for the Squaw Valley Freestyle Ski Team and for the Trillium Lane Homeowners Association.

Wally and his family live in Marin County, which serves as a base for their tennis and skiing adventures, and where he continues to help coach the Tamalpais High School tennis teams.
