Jeremiah J. Harvey

Whether it’s an individual or a company, I am a tenacious trial lawyer committed to providing my clients a full range of counsel to resolve litigation they may face in the most cost-effective means possible or to proactively avoid it.

Jeremiah Harvey focuses his practice on litigation and taking tough cases to trial.  He represents a wide variety of businesses and professionals with all aspects of a case from inception through trial.  This includes pre-litigation strategy, trial preparation, mediation, negotiations, trial and post-trial motions.  A skilled litigator, Mr. Harvey has prevailed as lead attorney in trial and has first-chaired countless mediations, settlement conferences, and Riese hearings.  Knowing that trial can be an expensive endeavor, Mr. Harvey helps his clients take advantage of cutting-edge legal technologies to reduce costs and efficiently manage the entire litigation process.

Mr. Harvey’s range as an attorney is showcased by the clients he has represented and the cases he has handled.  He has handled class-action wage and hour or wrongful termination, misappropriation of trade secrets, Business & Professions Code section 17200, and real property litigation.  Mr. Harvey has also defended manufacturers of pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices in federal and state product liability actions, and has litigated state and federal asbestos, complex toxic-tort, and premise liability matters.  Additionally, he has worked in the challenging medical field, representing doctors, hospitals and other professionals in state and federal malpractice actions.

Mr. Harvey earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis school of law.  At U.C. Davis, he served as Chair of the Negotiations Board, Moot Court Board National Appellate Advocate, Student Body Representative, and Editor of the Business Law Journal.  Before Law School, Mr. Harvey graduated cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he served as President of the Phi Alpha Delta Honors Fraternity and was an active volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity’s, Disabled Student, and Big Brother Big Sister programs that he remains committed to this day.
