Beth’s years of experience in the insurance coverage arena makes her a forceful advocate, as well as an efficient and insightful advisor. Beth achieves outstanding results and responds immediately to her client’s needs.
Beth counsels insurers concerning their coverage rights and obligations under a wide range of policies, including employment practices liability, commercial general liability, and professional liability insurance policies. In litigated matters, Beth fiercely defends her clients and aggressively advocates their interests while promoting cost-effective solutions to their disputes.
Beth is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) where she is a member of the Insurance Law Committee. Beth contributes updates to “California Liability Insurance Practice: Claims and Litigation” (Cal CEB), and prepared the California chapter of the DRI’s forthcoming Rescission Law Compendium.
Beth is admitted to practice law in California and New York. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Reed College where she served as Chair of the Student Judicial Board. After college, Beth served in the Americorps program where she worked with at-risk teenagers at an alternative school in Portland, Oregon. Beth received her J.D. from U.C. Hastings in 2001, where she served on the editorial board of the West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law and Policy and represented her class as a member of the Associated Students of U.C. Hastings (ASUCH).
