Douglas Stastny has years of experience representing the nation’s top financial institutions in both the mortgage and auto industries. As a member of Severson & Werson’s Financial Services Litigation Practice Group, out of its Orange County office, Mr. Stastny has obtained hundreds of favorable judgments for his clients throughout California in both state and federal courts. His efforts have earned him the honor of being recognized as one of Super Lawyer Magazine’s Rising Stars 2014-2020, a distinction given to no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in California.
Mr. Stastny believes in an aggressive civil litigation strategy and works tirelessly to put his clients in the best possible situation to meet their business and litigation goals. While the financial market and the law may change, Mr. Stastny remains vigilant to ensure that his clients remain informed and protected.
Mr. Stastny received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Chapman University. While at Chapman, Mr. Stastny was a member of the baseball team and played in the 2001 D-III College World Series. He returned to Chapman University School of Law for law school, earning his J.D. in 2009. Mr. Stastny is a member of the Orange County and Los Angeles Bar Associations, and is licensed to practice in California, Washington, and all Federal District Courts in California and Washington.
