Charles “Charlie” Meyer has over a decade of experience defending industry leaders in the fields of Financial Services, Construction, and General Liability.
During his tenure with Severson Mr. Meyer has defended actions for both the Financial Services and Insurance Practice Groups, including hundreds of cases involving actions filed against lenders and mortgage services in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and New Mexico. Additionally, Mr. Meyer has handled mass torts for the firm’s insurance clients, as well as various general liability matters for resorts, amusement parks, and athletic associations. Regardless of the region or subject matter, Mr. Meyer works tirelessly to defend his client’s interests.
Mr. Meyer is licensed to practice before all State and Federal Courts in California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada. He has also been admitted pro hac vice on matters in the State of New Mexico.
Mr. Meyer received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego. He returned to the University of San Diego School of Law for law school, earning his J.D. in 2007, where he served as an editor for the law schools International Law Journal. He has also been named to the Super Lawyers: Rising Star list for the years 2014-2017.
