He represents Fortune 500 companies and a wide variety of public and private entities with all aspects of litigation – from inception through trial. This includes pre-litigation strategy, trial preparation, mediation, negotiations, trial and post-trial motions. A skilled trial attorney, Alan has prevailed as lead attorney in trial and has first-chaired countless arbitrations, mediations and settlement conferences.
Alan’s range as a skilled litigator is showcased by the clients he has represented and the cases he has handled. He has handled a wide array of complex business and commercial litigation in numerous state and federal venues across the country, including real estate, environmental, intellectual property, product liability, catastrophic injury, and toxic tort litigation.

Alan earned his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law. At the University of Oregon School of Law, he served on the Editorial Board of the Oregon Law Review. Prior to law school, Alan graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he double majored in Political Science and Legal Studies.
Alan is licensed to practice in California and all United States District Courts in California.
