For over 45 years, Severson & Werson has represented clients as lead appellate counsel or in cooperation with local counsel in all types of appeals, extraordinary writs, and post trial motions. The firm has appeared in numerous forums, including the United States Supreme Court, Federal Courts of Appeals, the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Ninth Circuit, the California Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal, and appellate courts of other states.  The firm has membership in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and one of its members argued the first case presided over by United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.
