Cynthia L. Mitchell

Cynthia Mitchell joined Severson & Werson in 2003 as Special Counsel. She has more than 20 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation on behalf of the manufacturing, service and transportation industries and their underwriters. She has handled defense of personal injury/death claims of seamen and other maritime workers under the Jones Act, LSHWA, DOSHA and State law, subrogation recovery and defense of cargo claims under COGSA, Warsaw Convention and State bailment/common carrier laws. She has also recently become involved in the herbal supplement and toxic tort areas.

Ms. Mitchell was previously a partner at Cozen O’Connor in San Francisco.
