Philip Barilovits is Special Counsel at Severson & Werson's San Francisco office. His areas of expertise are in class action defense, financial services litigation, appellate and intellectual property litigation. He has handled complex cases in both federal and state court and has briefed significant cases on issues of first impression in the United States Courts of Appeals.
Mr. Barilovits received his law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School. He holds an A.B. from the University of California, Berkeley with high distinction and with high honors in history. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in California, all federal district courts in California and before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Federal and Ninth Circuits.
