Nannette De Lara, as Special Counsel with Severson & Werson’s Construction Practice Group, continues her 30-year commitment to design professional clients, representing them in litigation and transactional matters including contract negotiations.

Ms. De Lara specializes in the defense of professional liability and construction defect claims involving allegations of delays and other economic loss, property damage, personal injury and wrongful death. Representative projects in her civil litigation and transactional practice include schools, hospitals, police and fire stations, sanitation systems, bridges, pipelines, resorts, single and multi-family housing, churches, parking structures, shopping malls and other commercial structures. Ms. De Lara also counsels and trains design professionals in matters of loss prevention and pre-litigation dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Severson & Werson in 2000, Ms. De Lara had her own law practice, Law Offices of Nannette De Lara, and also was a partner with Barnum Balthazar & De Lara.
