Michael G. Cross is an Associate in Severson & Werson’s San Francisco office, and practices with the firm’s Financial Institution Litigation group.
 
Mr. Cross received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was the Student Writing Editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation.  Mr. Cross received his M.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Riverside, and his B.A. from Hope College.
 
Mr. Cross is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California.

Mr. Cross's primary areas of legal practice is Financial Services Litigation.

Mr. Cross's specific experience includes:

Financial Institution Litigation: Representation of financial institutions, primarily mortgage lenders, auto finance companies, and loan servicers, in suits raising a variety of lender liability claims.

Business and Commercial Litigation: Prosecute and defend actions arising from complex business transactions, fiduciary relationships, partnerships, suretyships, employment termination, and business torts.

Class Actions: Representation of mortgage banking companies, auto finance companies, and financial institutions in class actions raising claims based on statutory violations, unfair business practices, breach of contract, and fraud.
