Genevieve Walser-Jolly is a litigation associate in the Firm’s Irvine office and is a member of the Financial Services practice group. Ms. Walser-Jolly represents major financial institutions, including banks, mortgage lenders, and consumer financial companies, in all stages of litigation. Ms. Walser-Jolly specializes in the representation of retail, wholesale, and warehouse mortgage lenders in their defense against borrower complaints involving lender liability, wrongful foreclosure, title claims, breach of contract and violations of the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and Business & Professions Code section 17200.
Prior to joining Severson, Ms. Walser-Jolly represented banks, mortgage lenders, foreclosure trustees, loan servicers, and title companies in litigation. Ms. Walser-Jolly focused on title litigation and loss recovery.
In 2007, Ms. Walser-Jolly obtained her juris doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While in law school, Ms. Walser-Jolly was a Public Interest Scholar. Ms. Walser-Jolly has been a member of the Young Professionals Board at the Disability Rights Legal Center since 2005. Ms. Walser-Jolly graduated from Pepperdine University in 2001 with a Masters degree in psychology. Ms. Walser-Jolly graduated from Northwest Christian College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
